Where can I use Leaf?
Leaf can be used with any transaction.
If you are shopping at a Leaf enabled merchant, ask them for a Leaf receipt at the checkout.
If you are shopping at any other offline retailer, you can still use Leaf by scanning your paper receipt.
If you are shopping online, you can forward your email invoice to email@example.com and we'll create a record of this transaction alongside all your other receipts.
What does it cost me?
Nothing! Leaf is free for users.
Does it work on all devices?
Leaf works on all your devices.
Is there an app that I can download?
Leaf doesn't have a downloadable app at the moment. We are busy making our web application extraordinary before we consider this.
A store I shop at often is not part of your network yet, what can I do?
You can help us from two angles:
Tell your retailer about Leaf
Send us details of the retailer to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll get in touch with them.
How are you helping the environment?
A Leaf receipt saves a paper receipt from being printed. Did you know, there are only 55,000 receipts worth of paper in a single tree!
Can I use these receipts for taxes? Are they legally acceptable receipts?
Yes, when the receipt has been provided from a Leaf enabled retailer. We've taken considerable effort in making sure Leaf receipts comply to all necessary requirements to be considered a legally acceptible receipt.
Can I use Leaf receipts for exchanges, returns or guarantees?
If you obtained the receipt from a Leaf enabled retailer, the receipt is legally acceptable for facilitating exhcanges, returns, or guarantees - within the normal conditions of the retailer.
Is my data safe?
Of course! Leaf uses the highest and most secure level of encryption. Your data is therefore protected at all times.
Can I export my data?
Leaf receipts can be individually exported as a PDF and/or sent to you via email.
How long is my data stored?
Leaf stores your data and makes it available to you for as long as your account is not deleted, and provided you are considered an "active user" with at least 1 login per calendar year.
Can I get my transaction data directly to my banking app?
How do I earn points?
You can currently earn Reward points by any of the following actions:
Taking a Leaf receipt directly from a merchant
Uploading a photo of a scanned receipt
Forwarding an email containing a digital invoice
Inviting a friend to Leaf
Where can I spend these points?
You are able to swap your rewards points for vouchers or discounts at all of the retailers located on the rewards section of the app, provided you have enough points for the specific reward.
There is an error in my receipt what can I do?
If you notice an error in a receipt that you have received from a Leaf enabled merchant, or a receipt that you have uploaded or forwarded, please mark this receipt as inaccurate in the detailed view of the receipt. We'll take a look at this receipt, and take action where we need to.
How long are my points valid for?
Leaf reward points are valid for 36 months, before they expire.
How many points do I earn?
Points are currently awarded as follows:
50 points per uploaded photo receipt
50 points per uploaded email receipt
50 points + 10 points per EUR for transactions at a Leaf enabled merchant
300 points for a successful referral
Do you support all types of email receipts?
Leaf currently supports email invoices that are displayed directly in the body of the email.
